In line with GAFS’s commitment to fostering community and supporting graduate students, GAFS is pleased to announce the development of a mentorship program between GAFS students and ASFS members.
The program is intended to be informal and malleable, based on the varying needs of graduate students and capacities of senior scholars. We are developing the program in stages, with a pilot scheduled to roll out in the spring. For this first group, we are prioritizing responses from BIPOC grad students. We hope to expand the program to all students in Fall 2022.
If you’re interested, please take a moment to fill out this survey to help us assess the types of guidance and support you’d like to receive from a potential mentor.
Please note that this survey is not an application. As we are still in planning stages, this survey will help us gauge the needs of our graduate student community. We will follow up with respondents when applications are available.
