The Whetstone x Graduate Association for Food Studies online speaker event is your opportunity to hear from an industry professional, Dr. Anna Sulan Masing, on her research and experience exploring changing identity through food from a cultural, personal and decoloniality level. Hear Dr. Masing discuss her PhD research, her methodology and how that knowledge informed her podcast, Taste of Place about the Sarawak pepper.

Among other topics, Dr. Masing will broach the question; How do we recognise colonial structures in the present – both as physical structures and as systems?
